Tausha Johnson is the Executive Director and Founder of Why Not You, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and self-care through community outreach and education. Her passion for this work was sparked by the loss of a loved one, motivating her to support individuals facing mental health challenges and families impacted by suicide.

Recognized for her servant leadership, Tausha was honored as the 2020 Volunteer of the Year for the City of Lubbock, Texas. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, where she has developed strong expertise in leadership, strategic planning, operations, and community-focused initiatives. By combining her professional background with a deep commitment to mental health advocacy, Tausha leads with purpose and continues to create meaningful, lasting impact in the community.
